Willkommen in 2022, in einem hoffentlich vereinenden, friedlichen, glücklichen und gesundem Jahr für uns alle In circa 5 Monaten wird, so es denn sein soll das 5. Peace Dance Festival in Leipzig stattfinden…. Geplant vom 15.-17. Juli 2022
Vieles ist natürlich jetzt noch unklar….
Fakt ist, ein Festival wo wir Menschen ausschliessen müssen, die kommen wollen, aber nicht dürfen, wird es nicht geben…
Eine Beschränkung wird es natürlich von der Gästezahl geben, dass es für alle angenehm bleibt. Natürlich wäre es schön, wenn in diesem Jahr wieder mehr Menschen aufs Gelände kommen können.
Ausgeschlossen, bzw. nicht willkommen bleiben Menschen mit rassistischem, sexistischen, gewaltverherrlichendem Gedankengut.
Mögen wir das Leben geniessen.… Mögen wir die Mauern in unseren Köpfen, zwischen uns und Freunden, Bekannten, und der Familie, die aus verschiedensten Gründen errichtet sein könnten, friedlich wieder einreissen…

In den letzten Wochen haben wir Euch via Mail und Webseite unter anderem gefragt, wen ihr gern wieder beim Peace Dance Festival dabeihaben wollt, bzw. welche Künstler neu dazukommen könnten

Die, die antworteten, hatten dadurch die Möglichkeit, ein Festivalticket fürs Peace Dance Festival zu gewinnen…

Auch Farafi, J patterson, Uria Tsur, Light in Babylon und Ilhaam Project sind Eure Favoriten. Mal sehen ob von diesen Künstlern wieder jemand dabei sein wird… Eine schöne Mischung aus Acts die schon dabei waren und neuen Programmpunkten wünscht Ihr Euch… So wird es wohl kommen….
Neben einem tribal beats from all over the world dj set von Andi Rietschel stehen nun weitere Acts für dieses Jahr fest. Natürlich wieder: The Leipzig Tribe of Peace Family… zum Abschluss des Festivals am Sonntag Abend. Verschiedene Musiker aus dem Leipziger Freundeskreis spielen jeweils einen Song – unterschiedliche Musikstile.
Ein weiterer Höhepunkt und bisher jedesmal dabei gewesen sind Mark Lupescu und Christian Walter mit Kora, Hang, Saxophon, Flöte und Elcetronics – instrumentale Musik mit Einflüssen westafrikanischer Musik und Jazz. Nachdem sie Euch letztes jahr wieder zum Tanzen brachten, habe ich sie nach der Nachfrage an Euch, ja quasi auf der Bühne als erste Band für das diesjährige Festival engagiert….

Mai Santi and Tugce mussten leider ihren Auftritt beim PEace Dance Festival canceln Neu dabei in diesem Jahr ist ein aktuell in Berlin wohnendes Duo aus Paraquay und der Türkei – Electronic Music trifft / meets World, and Jazz music. Ich freue mich, das Santi & Tuğçe zum Peace Dance Festival für uns spielen werden.

Nun denn, noch ist es weit hin bis in den Juli… aber träumen kann man ja schon mal…. weitere Künstler sind angefragt…. und in Vorfreude und Hoffnung dass es geschehen kann, dass wir wieder zusammenkommen können, mögen wir uns auch auf die nächsten Wochen und Monate freuen…. den weiteren Winter, den Frühling, das Zusammenkommen, das Wiederaufblühen des Lebens, der Natur, des Miteinanders….
Möge Frieden und Liebe sein in uns und auf Erden…

Welcome to 2022, in a hopefully unifying, peaceful, happy and healthy year for all of us.
In about 5 months, if it is to be, the 5th Peace Dance Festival will take place in Leipzig…. Planned from 15-17 July 2022
Much is of course still unclear…. Fact is, a festival where we have to exclude people who want to come, but are not allowed, there will not be….
There will be a restriction of the number of guests, of course, so that it remains pleasant for everyone. Of course, it would be nice if more people could come to the site this year. Excluded or not welcome are people with racist, sexist, violence glorifying ideas.
May we enjoy life…. May we peacefully tear down the walls in our heads, between us and friends, acquaintances, and family, which may have been erected for various reasons…

Also Farafi, J patterson, Uria Tsur, Light in Babylon and Ilhaam Project are your favorites. Let’s see if any of these acts will be there again…. A nice mix of acts that have already been there and new program items you wish…. This is how it will be.…
Beside a tribal beats from alll over the world dj set by Andi Rietschel more acts are confirmed for this year.
Of course again: The Leipzig Tribe of Peace Family… at the end of the festival on Sunday evening. Different musicians from the Leipzig Tribe of Friends will play one song each – different styles of music.
Another highlight and so far every time present are Mark Lupescu and Christian Walter with Kora, Hang, Saxophone, Flute and Elcetronics – instrumental music with influences of West African music and Jazz. After they brought you last year again to dance, I have them after the demand to you, yes virtually on the stage as the first band for this year’s festival engaged….
update may 12 santi and tugce had to cancel their performance for this year / so sad New this year is a duo from Paraquay and Turkey, currently living in Berlin – Electronic Music meets World, and Jazz music. I am happy to announce that Santi & Tuğçe will play for us at the Peace Dance Festival.

Well then, it’s still a long way until July… but one can dream already…. further artists are requested…. and in anticipation and hope that it can happen, that we can come together again, may we also look forward to the next weeks and months…. the further winter, the spring, the coming together, the blossoming of life, of nature, of togetherness….
